The Gardens

Our beautifully landscaped gardens offer an elegant Victorian gazebo and water cascading over natural rock ledges into a Lily Pond. There’s a swing for two and hammocks tucked into quiet areas for your afternoon catnap!

The “rooms” of these lovely gardens offer many peaceful spots to sit and read. Around every corner you'll discover enchanting surprises not quite hidden, that add pleasant rewards to the adventure.

And, of course, you don’t want to miss walking, cross country skiing or snowshoeing (depending on the season) from the tiered gardens onto nine miles of natural woodland paths. They lead to spectacular views of the Connecticut and West River valleys where you can watch the sun set, completing the end of a wonderful day in our corner of Vermont!
